The Special Services Department within Physical Plant is responsible for the coordination of moves and relocations for the University. Costs for these moves are the responsibility of the customer, with some exceptions.
Relocation services that are deemed necessary by higher administration for various reasons, such as reorganizations, emergencies, and asbestos abatement, are coordinated by the Special Services Department and the necessary funding is provided. Coordination includes such things as the physical move, packing materials, key issues, and data/voice needs. These services are provided for the Tampa campus only, with consultation services available to the other University campuses.
