Custodial Services personnel provide custodial and labor services Monday through Friday for more than 4.0 million square feet of E&G buildings on campus. Custodial Services also provides service request to Auxiliary Organizations as a paying job.

Custodial services include

• Vacuum carpeted areas.
• Pick up litter and empty trash.
• Resupply paper products and soap dispensers.
• Clean and disinfect lavatory fixtures.
• Spot clean carpeting to remove stains and gum.
• Remove centrally located recycle paper for pickup.
• Spot clean entrances and inside glass surfaces.
• Sweep, dust mop, and spot mop uncarpeted floors.
• Spray buff-coated floors, damp mop others.
• Shampoo carpeting.
• Clean and/or strip and rewax resilient floors.
• Pest control

Equipment Loans and Setup Services

     Custodial Services has the following equipment available for use at homecoming, registration, concerts, graduations, and other special University events:

• Folding Tables
• Chairs

     Equipment is usually available on a first-come, first-serve basis for University-sanctioned events. During peak periods, priority is given to major public E&G functions. Custodial Services will deliver, set up, and remove the equipment. There is a rental fee per item and a minimum charge. Equipment requests must be made to the Service Center at least ten days before the event. The borrower must sign a loan agreement and pay for any damages or loss of equipment.
